Add even more yumminess and vitamin c to your lemonade with strawberries, and an electrolyte boost with coconut water! Not only is this a super refreshing drinks, its also a great way to use up any extra strawberries you might have after going strawberry picking.

Recipe makes about 5 cups/ a pitcher.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Lemon Juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1 lb fresh or frozen Strawberries

Directions

  1. Stir together water and sugar in a mason jar or microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1-1/2 minutes.
  2. Or, combine them in a pot and simmer over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

  4. Combine lemon juice and strawberries in a blender until very smooth. Stir in coconut water and simple syrup to taste (we used 1/4 cup, but it depends on your sweetness preference and the tartness of your strawberries).
  5. Refrigerate lemonade until ready to serve then pour into cups with ice and enjoy!
