Festive Nuts 2 Ways: Maple Glazed Walnuts & Rosemary Roasted Mixed Nuts

These sweet nuts are not only so simple to make but completely addictive. Be warned!

Maple Glazed Walnuts


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups walnuts (or pecans if preferred)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • Sprinkle of sea salt


DIRECTIONS

  1. Throw walnuts into pan & coat evenly with syrup
  2. Sprinkle in the sea salt
  3. Stir for 3-5 minutes, then enjoy!


Add these walnuts & roasted rosemary nuts to your chacuterie board for a burst of taste and a good source of protein.


Rosemary Roasted Mixed Nuts


INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups Jo Anne's Place Deluxe Nuts Mix
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp of sea salt
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Sprinkle of cracked pepper
  • 2-3 springs of fresh rosemary - de-stemmed and chopped


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine coconut sugar, sea salt, nutmeg, coconut oil, maple syrup, pepper, and rosemary.
  3. Add nuts to the bowl and stir with your hands to ensure they are well coated.
  4. Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You will want to make them as flat as possible for an even roast.
  5. Bake for about 7 minutes, stir/flip nuts, and then bake for another 8 minutes until the nuts are lightly toasted.
  6. Sprinkle with additional coconut sugar and flaky salt if desired. Enjoy!
