Sustainable Spring Cleaning

As we go about our daily lives, we often overlook the impact that our actions have on the environment. One of the biggest culprits is the use of cleaning products that contain harmful chemicals. These chemicals not only harm our health, but they also harm the environment. That’s why Jo Anne’s Place Health is a firm supporter of using natural cleaning products in the home.

First and foremost, natural cleaning products are made from ingredients that are safe for our health, our children, and our pets. They are typically free from harsh chemicals, such as bleach and ammonia, which can be toxic to humans and animals alike. Instead, natural cleaning products use ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and essential oils, which are non-toxic and biodegradable.

Another benefit of using natural cleaning products is that they are longer-lasting than their chemical-laden counterparts. While it’s true that some natural cleaning products may have a higher price tag upfront, they are often more concentrated and therefore you need to use a smaller amount than traditional cleaning products. This means that you’ll save money in the long run and reduce the number of times you need to purchase cleaning supplies.

Finally, natural cleaning products can improve the air quality in your home! Traditional cleaning products can emit harmful fumes that can irritate your eyes, nose, and throat. Natural cleaning products, on the other hand, have a fresh and natural scent that won’t harm your health or the environment.

In conclusion, natural cleaning products are a safer, more sustainable, and more affordable option than traditional cleaning products. By using natural cleaning products, we can reduce our impact on the environment while living a healthier lifestyle. So, next time you’re picking up supplies for spring cleaning, be sure to check out our selection of natural cleaning products at Jo Anne’s Place!

We've all been there. You set a goal for yourself to work out more but you can't seem to get into the routine. The workouts might be too hard or you might not have the energy for it. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that at least 1 in 4 adults do not get enough physical activity. If you're inactive, you carry a 20% to 30% greater risk of premature death compared to more active lifestyles. If you have trouble finding the time or energy to work out, VILPA may be a solution for you.

We are thankful not only for the amazing women in our team, but for the meaningful connections we have made with so many inspiring women in our community.
